Home to the Vandlar LARP game system and VIRUS 28 - A zombie survival game!

Formerly NERO Alliance Ohio, we have been in operation since 2006 and have hosted/ran nearly 100 weekend or module day events.  We are dedicated to providing quality LARP (Live Action Roleplaying) adventures and are always excited to welcome new members to our game.  

We have decided to Re-brand ourselves as Gathered Realms due to the addition of a second game system and to open up the possibility of adding more services in the future.  We hope you enjoy our new website which we have worked very hard to get up and running.  If you can think of anything you would like to see added, please let us know.

There are 4 types of Lodging that are offered and the prices are as follows (includes entrance fee):

 

Lightly Fortified Cabin: $20/person

Lightly Fortified Cabins are small cabins with no heat source. There are a total of 34 beds among 5 of these small cabins; these are set up as 4 sets of bunk beds in 4 cabins and 2 beds in 1 cabin. Each cabin has a light and an outlet. Some of the cabins have mattresses in them, but not all, so be sure to bring proper bedding.

A Lightly Fortified Cabin will take at least 5 Zombies to break into it.

 

Moderately Fortified Cabin: $30/person

The Moderately Fortified Cabin has a fireplace and beds with mattresses. There are a total of 7 beds in this cabin. This cabin has several outlets and lighting inside as well.

The Moderately Fortified Cabin will take at least 10 Zombies to break into it.

 

Highly Fortified Cabin: $40/pesron

The Highly Fortified Cabin has a wood-burner, is insulated, and has it's own private bathroom with 2 showers. It has several outlets, a mini-fridge an lighting. There are a total of 12 beds, with mattresses, in this cabin.

The Highly Fortified Cabin will take at least 15 Zombies to break into it.

 

Private Room: [TBD]/person

The Private Room is located inside of the Highly Fortified Cabin. It has it's own lighting, but does not have any outlets. There are a total of 2 beds in this cabin.

Because the Private Room is inside the Highly Fortified Cabin, it will take 15 Zombies to break into the Highly Fortified Cabin and then take 15 zombies to break into the Private Room.

 

We no longer charge per bed, instead we charge "Per Person." There are still only a limited number of beds in each cabin, so when making reservations with multiple people be sure to indicate if any individuals will be sharing a bed together. Once all beds are filled, individuals can still rent to stay in that cabin, however, they will be required to bring their own sleeping gear (i.e. cot, sleeping bag, blow-up mattress, etc.) as we will not be able to provide this.

 

All beds will be on a first-come first-serve basis and may be reserved ahead of time. 

 

A reminder will be posted closer to the event date for when the Pre-Registration is.

Lewis Arboretum is fixed with a full kitchen; a covered eating area; 3 full bathrooms with a toilet, showers, and sink; 7 cabins with electricity (5 smaller cabins that are not insulated; 1 bigger cabin that has a fireplace, and 1 other cabin with a wood-burner); and 2 out-houses. There are also several other cabins on a different part of the camp, but they are not insulated or have electricity running to them and are generally not utilized. This camp also has a lower, flat field that has electrical outlets for campers and tents that can be used as well; there is an out-house down on this field. This camp is our main camp and is used April through October.

Camp McKinley is fixed with a mess hall that is completely enclosed; a full kitchen; 1 bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower; and three bigger sized cabins with wood-burners. This camp has running water and electricity, but the water has a mineral scent to it. We advise not drinking it and to bring bottled water instead. This camp is used March and November.

Unless otherwise stated, the following guidelines will be used when Pre-Registering for an event.

Cut off for Preregistration AND Logistics is generally on the Sunday before the event at 11:59pm. 

 

Please be sure to send all official communications via email. Anything sent via PM, text message, or posted on the boards will not be considered as preregistration.

We are able to take cash, check [made out to Sara Funkhouser], or credit at the event when paying the rest of Playing Costs.
